with an Architectural Background
ABOUT
After years of working in architecture and interior design, I realized I was even more passionate about designing digital products and the way people interact with them. I've always been curious about human behavior and how thoughtful design shapes people's experiences.
For the past five years, I've been creating intuitive digital experiences by combining analytical thinking with a strong eye for detail. My architectural background continues to influence my work through structure, balance, and systems thinking.
I'm highly detail oriented, with a sharp visual memory that helps me spot subtle inconsistencies, from misaligned pixels to unclear hierarchies. Outside of design, I enjoy photography and travel, which constantly inspire the way I observe people, interactions, and the world around me.

Since moving to Toronto, I have been collaborating with Canadian businesses on a range of digital design projects. My work includes ongoing UI/UX design with ITANIZ Boutique Marketing Agency in Vancouver, as well as website design, social media design, and content creation for TOREA Car Financing in Toronto.
These collaborations have allowed me to gain hands-on experience in the Canadian market while working closely with cross-functional teams across different industries.

UI/UX Designer - Freelance
As a freelance designer, I collaborated with brands and businesses across Tehran, Istanbul, and later Toronto, creating thoughtful, visually cohesive, and intuitive digital experiences across web and digital platforms.
During this period, I also completed the UI/UX Design Program at INVERSE School, which strengthened my approach to user research, interaction design, and digital product strategy.
My architectural background continued to shape the way I design, structured, balanced, and focused on meaningful user experiences

Art Director & UI/UX Designer | Future City Innovation Lab
This period marked a major shift in my professional path. Leading digital design initiatives and managing a multidisciplinary team introduced me to user experience and product design, and fundamentally reshaped the direction of my career.
I worked closely with research, product, and development teams, overseeing UX strategy, user flows, and interface design for innovation-driven platforms.
2019 | Tehran, Iran
Transitioning into Digital Design
After stepping away from my architectural role, I took time to reflect on the kind of work I truly wanted to pursue. I realized that my passion was not limited to physical spaces. It was rooted in understanding how people experience design, how they interact with systems, and how habits and behaviors are shaped through thoughtful design.
This curiosity had always been present in my work, but it found a clearer expression in the world of UI/UX, where structure meets emotion in a digital form. Digital design allowed me to focus more deeply on interaction, clarity, and human centered problem solving while still applying my architectural way of thinking.
2015 – 2019 | Tehran, Iran
Architect & Interior Designer | Kasra Construction Co.
Contract Part-time
Alongside my role at Liman Consulting, I collaborated with Kasra Construction on residential and commercial developments. My focus was on integrating architectural structure with refined interior details, balancing aesthetic harmony with functionality and technical execution.
2010 – 2019 | Tehran, Iran
Architect & Board Member | Liman Consulting Architects & Engineers
I began my career at Liman Consulting as a junior architect and gradually advanced to senior architect and board member. Over the course of a decade, I worked on numerous healthcare and cultural projects and gained experience in both large scale and conceptual design.
Notable projects included Qom Hospital, developed in collaboration with MOSER Architects, and the award winning Tabriz Hospital competition, designed together with AIA Associés. I also contributed to amphitheater and cultural center projects focused on human interaction, public flow, and spatial storytelling.
These formative years taught me how to merge creativity with technical precision and how design can meaningfully shape everyday human experiences. This architectural foundation later became the cornerstone of my user centered approach to digital design.
